I’m a huge fan of Biscuiteers and had previously ordered their gorgeous little pink duck biscuits for my daughter Rebecca’s baby shower last year so I was delighted when they sent me their  Butterfly box of biscuits to incorporate into a vintage tea party. Each biscuit is a little handcrafted work of art and they definitely add a touch of class to any special event. The biscuits come in a beautiful presentation tin which is lovely to keep long after the biscuits have been enjoyed!

The butterfly tin consists of 6 large biscuits and 3 very cute little ones and they matched beautifully with some tea cups and plates from my vintage china collection.

I styled the table with a floral Cath Kidston table cloth with lace overlay and used lots of sparkly candle holders and mirrors along with little glass bottles filled with fresh flowers.

I used some of my favourite vintage Clare teacups which have a gorgeous gold design with pink roses and some Colclough ones featuring delicate flowers and a blue bow design. Both these sets are a favourite amongst vintage china collectors and they were a perfect match for the butterfly biscuits.

We enjoyed freshly baked scones, macarons and cupcakes but the butterfly biscuits were definitely the star of the show. They’re almost too beautiful to eat and some guests decided to take theirs home to enjoy later.
