Easter crafting

IMG_3441While I was pinning away on Pinterest one night I came across the prettiest little Liberty eggs by the very talented Tamsyn Morgans who I follow on Instagram. I decided to have a go at making some as I had some little scraps of Liberty fabric left over from previous projects and I also painted some eggs pink and used gold glitter and little gold stars to add some twinkles.

I found some very inexpensive polystyrene eggs in The Range which are perfect for decorating just how you wish.

IMG_3383I cut the fabric scraps into little pieces then covered a few eggs with craft glue before sticking the scraps on till the eggs were covered. The others I painted pink and then stuck on some little stars and sprinkled glitter onto them. I completely covered a couple in gold glitter as I can’t resist a bit of sparkle in my crafting!

These little eggs make the cutest decorations and are perfect for incorporating into your table decor or just for sitting on a pretty plate. I love florals and gold so found the fabric & glitter a perfect combination. They would also be lovely in the bottom of a lantern with a candle.
